Belgian midfielder Flaini returns to Shandong

Belgian midfielder Marouane Fellaini has joined up with Shandong Taishan for pre-season training after coming back from holiday, the Chinese Super League (CSL) club said on Tuesday.

The 35-year-old arrived in Shanghai on Tuesday at noon to meet the Shandong side, which is having a training camp there, the club said on social media.

Fellaini attended the afternoons team training and showed great form, the club added.

Shandong Taishan, which won last seasons Chinese FA Cup, will play against the CSL title holders Wuhan Three Towns in the CFA Super Cup on April 8 in Hangzhou, east Chinas Zhejiang province.
